I Need Help With Family

Teens often get in fights with their parents. It is normal, but it can take a toll on your relationship. If you want to have a better relationship with your parents, tell them that. They’ll be happy to know that you want to better understand and communicate with them.

The death of a loved one is difficult no matter the situation. You might find it helpful to share memories of the person with someone else who knew and loved them. Some people find artistic expression helpful. Everyone is unique in how they find meaning in the loss of a loved one. You might find it helpful to participate in an activity that reminds you of your loved one or that you might want to honour them by doing something like a walk or run.

It’s normal to have conflicts with your siblings. See if you can connect with them on common ground—a favourite band, a walk to school or a new movie.
